Goodbye to Paris and 2021.
For our last day in this lovely city, we spent time visiting the works of two artists: Banksy, an Englishman, and Georgia O’Keefe, an American.
The Paris Flea Market is the largest antique market in the world and is roughly two centuries old.
Today we turned Versailles, one of Europe’s famous monstrosities.
On Wednesday we started late and went to the Rodin Museum, mom’s favorite sculptor.
Today we toured the Paris Catacombs, which are actually defunct rock quarries only later filled with bones.
The day after a Trans-Atlantic flight is never pretty.
We depart at 6:30 P.M.
When I mentioned this trip on Facebook, my father accused me of spending money, and I’m quoting here, “…. as if you are an Onassis.” It’s quickly become a catchphrase amongst the immediate family.
