Hello and welcome to another series of Cleared For Departure, the only travelogue not to be recently indicted by the New York Attorney General on felony charges.  Mom and I are off to Los Angeles, located in the small, lesser known state of California.  Like me you’ve probably never considered LA a place to visit, but if you live on the West Coast it’s kind of a big deal.  Mom has friends from her college days, whom she met while studying abroad in Italy, that live there.  They have graciously offered to play host.  I will be reprising my role of Chief Luggage Coordinator & Chaperone.  As her only child, it is my sworn duty to entertain all of her travel proclivities.  

We depart in one week.  Below are the usual housekeeping items.  

You can log into Google Groups and read about any past trip.  Just use the email address this letter is sent to log in.  A list of past trips is below. 

If you wish to manage your subscription or unsubscribe, there is a link in the footer for taking care of that.    

If you’d like a copy of any picture I take, just let me know at the end of the trip.  I’m happy to send a full resolution file, packed with enough juicy pixels for printing.  If you need help with that, please let me know and I’d be happy to assist. 

To reply, just reply.  Rest assured the email goes to me and not the whole group.  I really enjoy hearing from you, so don’t be shy.
