The roads are chaos, the airport a mess.  Everyone’s trying to get out before the bomb cyclone (what a name) hits the area.  It took two hours to cab to JFK in some horrific traffic.  It looks like we’ll depart right before serious weather hits the area. Fortunate.

We are clear for departure on runway 4L, departing to the north, and making a right turn east over Long Island and to Madrid.
