Welcome back to Cleared For Departure, the CNN+ of travelogues: We have about a 100 concurrent viewers, give or take, at any one time. Soon we will be departing on our next adventure: Botswana.
Wait, what!? Who goes to Africa twice?! Turns out it’s anyone who’s gone to Africa once. The continent is too big and beautiful to see in one go. This tracks, as Africa is larger than China, Europe, and the U.S. put together. Plus our last trip was heavily amended due to COVID. While it was an experience RBD and I will never forget, we only visited South Africa and accepted other countries would have to wait. The wait for Botswana is over, while the wait for Namibia and Victoria Falls continues.
We depart in two weeks. Let’s get the usual house-keeping out of the way.

As per usual there will be no food pictures or reviews. I’ve worked in client service much of my life and know how hard the gig is. I am not about to call anyone out publicly. Stupid guest stories, however, are fair game. I love gossiping about stupid guests. Let’s talk privately if you have any questions about nitty-gritty of the places we stay.
