Warthog, which Bek wanted to see.  No songs from The Lion King were sung, however.  Well, at least by the animals outside the vehicle. 

The rhinos are dehorned for their protection, making them unappealing to poachers.  They do grow back though, at about the speed of your finger nails. 

Their skulls are such interesting shapes.  

The rhino is looking directly at us, with two different species of Ox Peckers battling out prime real estate.  These birds are vampiric, and when not eating ticks are happy to pick at wounds on the animals and drink their blood.

Producer RBD takes a pic from our vehicles of the rhinos having dinner. They eat a lot, and because it’s grass, pass an enormous amount of gas.
